Festival Policies
Camp Do’s
- Children 5 and under get in FREE!
- Lawn chairs and blankets will be acceptable on site (this does not include when you are inside the Beer Gardens)
- Pets – Service / Assistance / Guide Dogs
- Camping allowed in designated campsites only. See accommodations for directions to Riverside RV Resort and Campground.
Camp Don’ts
- Video camera’s are not permitted (At the request of the performers)
- No outside food or beverages
- No glass allowed on site
- No camping permitted in any of the day parking lots
- No pets allowed (except for Service / Assistance / Guide Dogs)
- There is No Smoking within the festival gates (A designated smoking area will be set up at the entry gate. Note this is due to extreme fire hazard warnings)
FAQ
Q) What time will the festival start and end?
A) Gates will open at 12:00 noon with the first performance to begin at 12:30pm. The festival is scheduled to end around 9:30pm
Q) What does Campground “C” stand for?
A) Campground "C" stands for Campground Country-Rock.
Q) Is the Campground “C” Country-Rock Festival associated or related to Merrit Mountain Music Festival?
A) Absolutely not. Each festival represents a completely unique and distinct experience. They are each run by independent entertainment companies.
Q) Can we go in and out of the festival site?
A) In and out privileges will be allowed
Q) Where can we park?
A) Whistler has parking accommodations throughout the Village. In particular the day parking lots (see maps and directions provided under our parking link)
Q) Where do I park if the day parking lots are full?
A) Additional concert parking will be supplied free of charge at Whistler Creekside parking. Whistler and Valley Express (WAVE) Transit System is available for transportation to and from the festival site. (see maps and directions provided under our parking link)
Q) Can we purchase tickets at the gate on the day of the Festival?
A) Yes, tickets will be available at the gate for $75, cash only.
Q) Will there be food on site?
A) Yes, a variety of food vendors will be present.
Q) Is this an all ages festival?
A) Yes, families are encouraged to come and enjoy …. Children under 5 get in free!
Q) Is this a licensed event?
A) Yes, there will be a beer garden that will sell beer, wine and coolers. You must be 19 years of age or older to enter, photo ID is required.
Q) What other entertainment will be onsite?
A) For 8 seconds test your skills on the Mechanical Bull
Q) What accommodations are available while I am in Whistler?
A) Whistler has a broad range of hotels to suit every budget. (see our accommodation packages or go to www.whistler.com)
Q) Is camping available in Whistler?
A) Camping is available in Whistler at Riverside RV & Campground. Reservations are highly recommended. Camping is ONLY permitted in designated Campsites around Whistler Village. There are strict rules and regulations enforced by the Resort Municipality regarding camping in Whistler.
Q) Can we have a campfire?
A) No campfires or open fires of any kind are permitted while staying at Riverside RV Resort & Campground (Very High Hazard for Forrest fires at this time of year)
Q) Once camped how do we get to the festival site?
A) Shuttle buses will run from Riverside RV Resort & Campground
